He has had two starters in North America:

Delight, who finished third to the ultra-impressive Love Reigns on turf at Keeneland on 29 April.

Thank you very much Three Mustangs .

He has had a 3rd runner in France finished 7 of 12 beaten 9 lengths called Priyanka with Andre Fabre over 6 fur

All would be better suited over further in time..

Thanks once again

You’re welcome. I didn’t know about the runner in France.

following the scratch of Prove Right, Justify's first starter will instead be Tahoma (o/o Madera Dancer) at SA, 5/22, R2. he is trained by Doug O'Neill for West Coast Stables and will be ridden by Juan Hernandez.
Justify also has a runner entered at the Curragh on Sunday: Aspen Grove, a Glen Hill Farm homebred.

Mendelssohn first runner in the U K Congo River ran a smashing race first time out.

Always with the leaders he hit the front 1 fur out looked the winner but found no extra close home beaten 1/2 length .

Well please

I’m really excited about Mendelssohn’s get. I hope he will become a great sire. I’m surprised he has a runner in UK already-it’s not cheap to import a horse from the US and seems especially risky for a first year sire

Congo River was running in Ireland, not the UK. Either way, he’s owned by Coolmore, and while they don’t send their own mares to the bottom 95% of their first year stallions, they do actively buy their progeny at the major sales and send them to Ballydoyle. It’s in their own financial interest to buy progeny and race them. High auction pricetags, impressive performances, and soundbites from Aidan O’Brien make marketing a young stallion a lot easier.

Sometimes it works, like with No Nay Never and Camelot, other times it doesn’t. See: Air Force Blue, Duke of Marmalade, Henrythenavigator, Dylan Thomas, and about 100 other stallions.

Pop d'Oro was the first winner for Bolt d'Oro, winning a "trial" at Turf Paradise on April 13.

Meanwhile Tapwrit's first winner was in Russia on May 7 - Goryanka. He had another winner in Russia the next day - Teona Bars.

Been reading about Sharp Asteca as a stallion,

Dont know about his career on the track.

Think he has only had one runner so far.

Cracksman had his first winner on Saturday in Italy. Aloa was also his very first foal to be born.

The late Roaring Lion winner of 8 of his 13 races and sadly died at the age of 4 due to colic, had his first runner a few days ago at York

Thunder Cat trained by Andrew Balding, he finished 5th of 10 beaten 12 lengths over 6 fur which was to short a trip, he may run on Friday at Pontefract over stiff 7 fur.

I hope his sons and daughters do him proud

Yeah, that was a big loss. I'm a huge fan of Kitten's Joy, and Roaring Lion may have been his best son. :(

Roaring Lion colt Thunder Cat makes his 2nd start at Haydock tonight.

In what looks a decent Novice Stakes for 2 year olds

The step up to 7 fur should suit, and now having his second run i hope he can tak another step forward.

Thanks for the heads-up. TVG usually has some European racing on during the earlier morning hours of their broadcast, before the US tracks crowd the schedule. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll show Haydock.

Haydock was abandoned after 2 races due to unsafe ground.

After reading the article, I am still confused as to WHY the ground on the turns was so slippery. Was it too wet? Too dry? If Buick thought the ground on the bend was 'good to firm,' how was that bad? Was it a problem with too much water on top of firm ground under the grass? :?

Justify's third starter (2nd in the US), Justafever (o/o Nina Fever), finished 2nd on debut at CD, beaten 1 3/4 lenghts by Owen's Leap (Bolt d'Oro), who became his sire's 3rd winner from 6 starters.
