Is there a death report on file for Rich Strike's dam, Gold Strike?

Rich Strike is, as of now, her last foal. She was sold i/f to Ransom the Moon at the 2019 Keeneland Sale.

Hmmm. She is 20 so she could have been bred this year, but hopefully she is happily pensioned somewhere.

And if she was bred back, hopefully it was to Keen Ice, and she's carrying a filly. Rich Strike is her only colt so far it looks.

she wasn't bred back, i actually made a post asking about her. i checked and the last year she was bred was 2019 (Ransom the Moon) and she didn't have a foal.

Glad that Gold Strike is is safe. I was worried.

Her 2017 foal by Oxbow, My Blonde Mary, was claimed for $5K out of her last start at Tampa on 6 April. Guess her value has gone up a bit, huh?

I sense that her fertility issue may be that she is twenty years old. Another $ibling would be great, but you'd hate to see her end up like Kind or Royal Delta (who admittedly was not a senior mare) and die from serious complications after years of fertility trouble.
