Curlin To Mischief has been pensioned.
https://paulickreport.com/news/bloodsto ... stud-duty/
The article says that he is going to be a riding horse, so I would presume he's being gelded.

I hate this usage for "to grow." :x IMO, you grow crops; anything else just sounds funny. "Not This Time's stature is growing," or "Derby starters enhance/improve/raise NTT's stature."

Rant over.

I really don't know who California breeders are breeding to. I guess Stay Thirsty is popular but there doesn't seem to be an appetite for upgrades. Or even possible upgrades. We just aren't getting viable possibilities.

by last year's breeding stats, the most popular ones would be Sir Prancealot at 125 and Stay Thirsty at 119.

I’m devastated...I remember how talented he was in the track, but couldn’t stay healthy enough to prove it. What a fantastic sire he was...I’m losing all my favorite horses...RIP Flatter, you did your daddy proud 💔💔💔💔

Flatter has a son owned by my racehorse named hero Status who just started running. 3rd in his debut race and 2nd to Hopper in a maiden race on derby day at Santa Anita. Hoping hero Status continues to improve and does his daddy proud

23 doesn’t seem that old...Indy was 31, his best sons are not living nearly as long. In the last couple of years, he’s lost Malibu Moon, Bernardini and now Flatter... it’s rough. Honor Code not hitting like I thought he would is especially hurtful because of this.

Flatter was awesome ....RIP
