In Leopardstown R5 today (8f maiden for 3yo fillies):

Porto Cervo - American Pharoah x Cherry Hinton. Half-sister to Goddess, Bracelet, Wading, and Athena. Cherry Hinton is out of Urban Sea.

Only - Deep Impact x Winter. She is Winter’s first foal. Winter won the 1000 Guineas, Irish 1000 Guineas, etc.

In R2, Snowfall’s 3yo full brother Newfoundland finished 6th in his debut.

In the Leopardstown 5th, Only was 2nd and Porto Cervo was 7th. The winner, Lullaby, is an Aiden O'Brien-trained daughter of Galileo x Holy Alliance (Holy Roman Emperor).

Starstriker (GB) (Zoustar/Lightening Quick) is entered in R1 Sunday at Keeneland. Her dam is a G3W by Frankel and her 2nd dam is G1W Lightening Pearl.

Marr Time runs in Keeneland R4 today, an 8.5f dirt AOC. She finished second last time out at Oaklawn.

She was sent to the front, but could not hold on in the last sixteenth. Maybe she needs a slightly shorter distance?

The dam Goodbye Stranger was sold i/f to another full-sibling to Japan in 2019. She has no breeding record since then.

Shirl's Speight (Speightstown x Perfect Shirl) won the G1 Maker's Mark Mile at Keeneland in a head bob over the import, Masen. Perfect Shirl, the winner of the 2011 BC Filly & Mare Turf, has been an excellent broodmare.

Masen’s pedigree ain’t too shabby, either. His second dam is champion and BC F&M Turf winner Intercontinental and third dam is blue hen Hasili.

Danon Scorpion(JPN) nailed race favorite Killer Ability(JPN) in the listed Hagi Stakes 1800m turf at Hanshin on Oct 30th to remain undefeated.
That was an exciting match-up & finish and, hopefully, we will see both colts in the G1 races soon!!!

Q B One finished 7th of 7 in a MSW at Santa Anita. What’s next, turf maybe? Ship him to Golden Gate for some class relief?
