Except for a couple getting sick, it’s been pretty uneventful! Although treating a sick foal and making sure a mare doesn’t foal behind your back can be pretty stressful . Anyway of the 8 born I’ve only foaled out two, the other night watch guy has been plenty busy!

Dam is gray so I wouldn't count out the filly being gray...but black foals will sometimes be jet black as babies, so that's still a possibility.

The HAP colt’s dam is also gray...nothing wrong with that at all, but the black on both is really beautiful so I do hope they remain “black”. Honor Code sires mostly dark bays, but he has sired a few grays, either out of Unbridled's Song or Exchange Rate mares. It will be interesting to see if these babies end up taking after their mamas.

Yup.... lack of foal camo is common in some breeds and in babies with LP, but less common in TBs. My money would be firmely on grey with this one as well.

Maybe this one will look like my username...was jet black for several years then slowly but surely started getting paler.

Two most recent foals are both fillies. First is a Twirling Candy out of Stakes placed Luzmimi Princess (daughter of Maple Forest). Second is by The Factor out of Madame Clouseau(IRE), a full sister to Gr 1 placed At First Sight. Of the 10 foals on the ground, 9 are fillies
