Is Foal Patrol doing their thing this year?

Yeah I posted it in the broodmare thread. Elate is on it this year But I will report here.

Foal Patrol season 5 starts January 5th, 2022.

Elate - due March 13 - in foal to Speightstown
Spanish Bunny - due February 2nd - in foal to Uncle Mo (dam of G1SW Spanish Queen)
Traveling Tiger - due late January - in foal to Audible
Repeta - due late March or early April - in foal to Volatile
Floripa - due May 5 - in foal to Vekoma

Poor Spanish Bunny still hasn’t delivered her foal. With Uncle Mo as the sire and her being past her due date, I’m worried that the foal is going to be huge.

That is what most regular old barns look like, and they don't need to be fancy as the mare and foal will spend almost all their time out in pasture after first couple of days.

I mean, LNJ Foxwoods board their mares and yearlings at Gainesway, so even if some of the barns are older you know the care is first class.

Sure, could use some paint, but I don't see mice/rats in the bedding like that one live cam a few years ago, so. I think this is OK.

Yea they might also need to replace the wood too. Dixiana’s barns are super old since the farm has been around since the 1800s and you should see what the weather can do to the wood of the barns. Maintenance has redone so many barns because they get so rundown. The foaling barn had all the old siding replaced last year and now it looks brand new!

I was just about to post this….what a stunning foal; HAP seems to be stamping his foals - at least the few I’ve seen. I thought the one I posted above was gorgeous..this baby is so striking.
