I really like the TDN series of offering farms to share their breeding plans and the explanations on why they chose the breedings. I'm surprised at the number of responses they have gotten. I feel like I check for them every couple days and there will be so many.

Having read some of these (thank you for the link!), I think some breeders are taking advantage of the free, positive advertising. But the underlying feeling I get is these breeders are proud of their mares, proud of their programs, and proud of the thought they put into choosing matings. I think it's a great feature.

I've been following the series since the first article, and it's always a very interesting read! I really enjoy the breeders explanations for how they go about choosing their matings... it would be nice if the bigger, more commercial breeders would also chime in, like Stonestreet or Summer Wind! Although Stonestreet does do a bit of this on their twitter page and their website.
