Kew Gardens looks like he has a huge shoulder, but he's overall very pleasing to the eye.

He's quite handsome, and could get even more so when his neck fills out.

I may have heard of such a thing before. Not a distinguished horse, can't recall the name, but they also sent him back to the track at three.starrydreamer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 20, 2021 3:14 pmYeah, he's nice looking but man, I'm cringing at retiring a 2 year old to stud.

Its happening in Europe nearly ever year the past 5+ years, a perfectly sound 2yo is raced alot wins a G2/G3 Stakes and then is retired to stud. Since they had success with Mehmas, I think its going to happen more.Delamont wrote: ↑Mon Dec 20, 2021 3:45 pmI may have heard of such a thing before. I think Pinatubo was well-received anyway, but the reception would've been rapturous if he'd retired at 2. He didn't look quite so impressive after he didn't really train on at 3.Flanders wrote: ↑Mon Dec 20, 2021 4:27 pmIts happening in Europe nearly ever year the past 5+ years, a perfectly sound 2yo is raced alot wins a G2/G3 Stakes and then is retired to stud. Cupid is doing fairly well at $5000 so $10,000 for Tacitus isn't unreasonable--Tacitus had a longer career, but Cupid had more speed.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

If he's out of a GSW Galileo mare, how about showing her some respect and NAMING her?
