He broke well and led for the first half, but he was done after that and faded quickly. What the heck has happened to that poor horse? He does have more than average talent. Dang.

Maybe he bled through the lasix or he didn't like the all weather racing surface?

I was just coming on here to wonder out loud about the all weather surface. Regarding the bleeding, he ran enough times before and didn't bleed that it seems unlikely that was the problem. The only time he bled was the one time he ran without Lasix. I dunno. I feel bad for the horse. People make such fun of him now. He's become the poster boy for unrealized expectations. I have been wishing to see him turn things around and get some respect. He did show a lot of talent early on. So, fingers crossed it was the surface. He sure bombed on grass, so maybe it was the surface. He finished dead last. He is better than that.

CADDO RIVER got the worst ride and trip imaginable. Finished first in race #8 at Oaklawn today, but was disqualified to second for interference. Lousy ride and horrible trip in this race. He would have won either way, but that was a mess of a race for him. Very disappointing. Not the horse's fault. Jockey made a mess of it.

SUMMER IN SARATOGA won race #5, Blushing K.D. Stakes at Fairgrounds today. Her record is now 17-7-1-2. This is her 4th stakes win.

SOUPER LEGACY won race #5 at Gulfstream Park today. His record is now 4-2-0-0.

GREEN LIGHT GO had a really nice win in race #8, an AOC, at Aqueduct today. Won by 9 lengths and got a 101 BSF. His record is now 12-4-3-1. THE SOUND was in the same race and finished last. His record is now 8-3-1-0. Both horses are with Jerkens now, which is where GLG started out. GLG's last race was a good one, too. Fast closing second in a G3. Missed by a head. I think blinkers have helped him. Hope he can get some good wins. I don't think Hollendorfer did him any favors.

I don't know, but must be normal for him because they used one of those photos for his conformation shot on the Gainesway website.
