Foolish Hobby (Arrogate x Flatter Up) has a very unique gray color. Her rump is still kind of reddish and dark gray while the front half is lighter. I believe this is what you would call "gray roan" as apposed to just "gray."

Grey and roan are two separate genes and because rn roan doesn't exist in the TB gene pool, it's just grey no matter what people call it.Mylute wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 8:26 pm Foolish Hobby (Arrogate x Flatter Up) has a very unique gray color. I know you follow her and didn't know if you saw that Speighster yearling is in the Wannamakers online sale, just a flashy chestnut though.

Also a very flashy Sharp Azteca colt, in a bit of an "awkward" stage. Could've done better pictures

I don't think a camera angle could create THAT bad of a swayback.
Hard to believe that a yearling colt could look so much like a middle-aged gelding.

Eons ago, a swayback ran in the Derby. I developed a sneaking fondness for him, and there was an interview with his jock, explaining how the ride was different.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 4:59 pm I don't think a camera angle could create THAT bad of a swayback.

Could his name have been Sway Away?..

There was a decent horse named Sway Away, who was quite sway-backed.

That's not Covfefe's weanling. She put up pics of her also. Her blaze is "normal" looking. Here's the tweet with Covfefe's foal https://twitter.com/LNJFoxwoods/status/ ... 4520402945TapitsGal wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 6:46 am There's pics on Twitter of Covfefe's Constitution weanling who has a pretty interesting facial marking

It has to be from an injury. He doesn't have it when he was sold as a yearling.
The quality leaves a lot to be desired but here is as as a yearling, almost 2 working in Florida and its not there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqE2EQsSvuU

Well, if it IS from an injury, then no wonder they're keeping him in bubble wrap! The horse is accident prone in addition to having apparent soundness issues!Flanders wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 3:01 pmIt has to be from an injury. He doesn't have it when he was sold as a yearling.
