Mastercraftsman has done exceptionally well with his first crop!

45 winners in his first crop and his son Kingston Hill (GI winner) is the current undefeated favourite for the English Classics!

He's a good-looking fellow. Really nice shoulder among other nice qualities.

His star is playing tricks with my eyes in regards to his head shape.

I though he actually had a bump on his forehead though? Or is the star making it look bigger.

He's a nice looking horse overall.

He does have a slight Roman nose but that photo makes it look more prominent.

Manduro almost looks like a classic statue of a horse that you seen in European cities. Just imagine him in stone.

Agree. Manduro's conformation is almost perfect. If you look at his official pic - you couldn't paint him better:

This for example is the statue of some duke in my hometown who lived some 250 yrs. ago. Manduro could have been the model for his horse. ;)

Something I've noticed in the photos I've seen of AK is that he's always pretty chill for a stallion. (Not talking about pre-race or on-track pix, where he was fired up to run.) Body language, ears, eyes...he seems to have a good attitude. Confident but not aggressive. Has to be a positive for potential breeders.

That made me think of his sire, Leroidesanimeaux, relocating to Newmarket. Does anyone know if he is being well supported with prominent mares?

He's all class, love his look. I hope he does well as a stallion.

Is it standard practice for stallions to be shod in front, or does it vary by stallion and/or farm?

I still can't figure out what's going on with his right front leg. It's not the leg that he injured. That knee is huge.

I don't think it really is. You often get that illusion when photos are taken from that angle.
