I was shocked to see Tabor pass the question along to Wesley about the next target for Golden Pal, as if Coolmore's trainers have the last word on race placement.
tbh I would be surprised if we see him on the track again, regardless of what was said in the interview.

The Japanese finish both last They aren't top horses in Japan so I was expecting it but still sad...
I hope Love Only You can at least finish in the top 5 later! Only her has a chance IMO

With all the owners involved with Life Is Good (Winstar, China Horse Club, etc.), It's a good bet that he's headed to the shed for next season. At least we may see him in the Pegasus.
I doubt that we'll see a more impressive race today.
But I thought that about Golden Pal's win...then LIG said 'hold my beer.'

It was sporting of the Japanese connections to bring those two over, but....American dirt speed is on just a different level.

I want her to win too. Not only because I like her but because I think its nice for International connections that ship over to win the big races. Because if they win then maybe they come back with more horses and it makes the races really fun.Palace Malice wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 4:29 pm The Japanese finish both last They aren't top horses in Japan so I was expecting it but still sad...

Yeah I expect Life Is Good on the WinStar stallion page later today.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 4:32 pm With all the owners involved with Life Is Good (Winstar, China Horse Club, etc.), It's a good bet that he's headed to the shed for next season. At least we may see him in the Pegasus.

Easy to understand why they love buying American stallions to stand in Japan.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 4:33 pm It was sporting of the Japanese connections to bring those two over, but....American dirt speed is on just a different level.

Not a fan of Life Is Good's menagerie of owners, but I wouldn't be surprised if he races next year. I think they know what sort of year he might have and what kind of resume he can go to stud with if they keep him in training. We'll see.
Some really nice fillies in this race. Can't decide if I'm rooting for War Like Goddess or Loves Only You more. It was very sporting to bring these Japanese horses over, and I'd love to see it pay off!
