Does Gamine normally have white spots on her skin/ hair coat?

But I thought it was impossible to re-insert a horse into the pool?

Really digging the lack of contrition by everyone involved. There were bookmakers abroad who paid out to Modern Games...

I don't think that the horse is ineligible.
Correct; IIRC the owners can transfer him to another barn.

Happy for Bo Hirsch. :)

For some BC history, Ce Ce's grand dam Magical Maiden (owned by Bo's father Clement Hirsch) finished 3rd to Paseana in the 1992 Breeders Cup Distaff.

Kudos to the connections of the other horses for actually going for it there. Ce Ce was much the best and I thought the ride on Edgeway was really good.

I hope everybody who ducked this race was watching.

Congrats to CeCe and connections- race set up perfectly for her and she was much the best. Gamine just not the horse she was last year. Wonder if she will be retired now?

I would pretty very surprised if she raced next year. Suspecting an announcement soon.

Interesting note- Hot Rod Charlie is clearly favored in the Juvenile/ Classic doubles.

Specifically the connections of Bell’s the One, who took a “win and you’re in” spot when they had no intention of using it...so they could run in the Dream Supreme.

Is Golden Pal usually hard to load? :(
Nevermind....he is still a frigging rocket. :o
Great second by local Lieutenant Dan.

Well, fair enough I guess. I thought Golden Pal was a terrible favorite but was clearly wrong.

Is that final time correct? :54.75?

It equals the track record if so. Not sure what they do with Breeders Cup stakes records when the race goes back and forth from 5f to 5.5f? He has the stakes record for 5f though if that time was right.

Wow, that's a quick record!

Worth noting that two of the turf race times were adjusted yesterday, including the Juvenile Turf Sprint. So it might been a bit until this number is confirmed.

Nice to see a foal out of the wonderful Lady Shipman do so well. And she was 2nd in the BCC Turf Sprint a few years back. How often does that happen?

Wow he might race again next year. That is something I certainly did not expect. Still I expect the retirement announcement later today.

I would guess and say not often. The only other one I can think of off the top of my head is Versailles Treaty (who produced George Vancouver). Only 4 BC winners produced BC winners, so I wouldn't expect the placers numbers to be much higher.

LMAO Eight Rings being scrubbed on the whole time. I thought Schrupp was full of it, but...

Life is Good with a monstrous effort there.
