That was my first guess but it looks like South Korea Jockey Club took down their English version or it wouldn't work when I went to check earlier. They must have been working on it earlier when I checked, it works now but he isn't on there yet.

Word in the horse industry is Super Saver is coming back. Haven’t heard which farm is bringing him back, but it’s not WinStar. Darley I did hear was a possibility

2019 Swedish derby winner Red Cactus will stand next year at Hjortebo stud in Denmark. Interesting addition to Scandinavia.

I was kind of surprised when WinStar sold him on since while no he wasn't getting 200 mares a year he was still at 136 the last year he stood in the US. Maybe a farm wants him back because of Letruska? I suppose he got G1 Happy Saver last year. But those are the only 2 G1SWs I can think of since he has been sold. This year he only has 3 SWs, sure one is a phenomenal mare and I guess Double Thunder is running in the Breeders Cup Juvenile. The thoroughbred world is a strange one when it comes to selling and buying horses.Mylute wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 8:49 pmHigh demand or what? His son, Runhappy, has been doing pretty well as a sire, himself. Maybe someone feels Super Saver could be a decent sire-of-sires?

I didn't expect juddemonte to stand Tacitus themselves because he never quite met their mark for that. I AM surprised they are starting him off in Kentucky. I always thought juddemonte would send him overseas to stud in Japan or south Korea or somethingNorthport wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 2:03 pm St Mark’s Basilica will stand for €65,000 Euros

I'm curious to know why? He's had stakes winners but not like he's siring them left and right like say Tapit or Into Mischief is...is it possible he's just not attracting the amount of mares they'd hoped? Any possibility that Super Saver is being brought back from Turkey as retired from stud and being sent to old friends?Summer Bird wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 4:51 pm Word in the horse industry is Super Saver is coming back. Taylor Made is one of the partners on Tacitus and he fits with their style of moderate stallion fees program. They have a nice young stallion in Not This Time, which I'm pleased with since NTT is a son of Giant's Causeway. Their "big horse" for 2022 will be Knicks Go whose fee hasn't been published yet. Then they have four stallions in the under $10,000 category. Tacitus comes in at $10,000 and NTT is at $45,000.TapitsGal wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 2:44 pmI didn't expect juddemonte to stand Tacitus themselves because he never quite met their mark for that. Im super excited about Not This Time. I'm a partner on one of his babies Chasing Time who was fourth in his first race a few weeks ago, ran yesterday and placed second...I'm excited to see if he breaks his maiden next time out and where he goes from thereRidan_Remembered wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 3:22 pmTaylor Made is one of the partners on Tacitus and he fits with their style of moderate stallion fees program. Ehh...probably not. Unless they decide to pension him and there's a buy back clause.

I hope there is a buy-back clause for EVERY horse we sell to Korea. It turns my stomach to think of that handsome son of Tiznow (or any of our TBs) ending up being slaughtered.
