Matilda Jones
I know this sounds weird since this is a Trotting Registry, but it lists more of Matilda Jones pedigree than you've got so far.
https://books.google.com/books?id=mYcIA ... ed&f=false
I took a screenshot of the page but can't post it, nor can I copy and paste it for you.
The horse's name is Saint Thomas, a grandson of Matilda Jones, GGD is Sally Ward, Betty Bluster, imp, etc
I find it interesting that Pedigreequery lists something completely different, but since this is an actual horse registry, I'm going to take their word for it.
And the Wallace's Thoroughbred Registry lists Jordan's pedigree.
https://books.google.com/books?id=96WEA ... es&f=false
Trumpeter
He became a sport horse sire as well, and this page details his entire pedigree. His birthdate is listed as 1856, which seems appropriate considering Young Trumpeter was born in 1864.
https://sporthorse-data.com/pedigree/yo ... ter?mode=d
They have a painting of him available, as well. I can't copy and paste it but I've found it in a couple of places so I presume it is accurate, which is kind of cool.
Would you like me to stop now? I don't want to sound like I'm taking over or anything!

The info above about Saint Thomas, is very similar to what pedigree query has, I know you have to be careful with pedigreequery as anyone can edit it. They have a Trumpeter (USA bred) by Glencoe, the info on Saint Thomas has it spelled Trumpator, which is what pedigreequery has as Trumpeter(USA)'s broodmare sire. https://www.pedigreequery.com/trumpeter3Oasis Dream wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 3:17 am Matilda Jones

There is another mare that is a daughter of Jordan and Sally Ward on Pedigreequery and she has a foal that was Canadian bred and is by the sire of previous Queens Plate winners. https://www.pedigreequery.com/lady+franklin4 so this is what Matilda Jones pedigree should be, according to that info.
The info from sport horse data is not the right horses.

I don't think you should stop if you want to keep helping Miesque with her project. The info you found about Saint Thomas was great and the other stuff you helped find as well.

Thanks to everyone.
I didn't get much done online this weekend. My mother is in the hospital (unpleasant ordeal involving shortness of breath, nausea brought on by Ozempic and an eventual diagnosis of a blood clot in her lung, which is being dealt with and was caught in time, thank goodness) and will being heading to rehab soon. I don't even think I got online at all. I know naptime was curtailed. Driving from Liberty Hill, TX to Round Rock, TX isn't a long journey but it takes forever because of traffic. Pfft.
Equineline insisting I prove I'm not a robot never ceases to amuse me. ("Could explain the loose screws, but... ")
I do have a couple of bookmarks for Standardbred pedigrees (I vaguely keep up with that sport as well, since there's a few mares that have produced 2 or more trotting/pacing Triple Crown race winners), and I also try to keep up with Quarter horse 'Derby' races and the All-American Futurity (no mare has produced 2 winners). But those are very minor projects and I'm not exactly up to date late... ly and really have little enthusiasm for either. I should dig through the Standardbred pages a little for older stuff, because there's some interesting connections to be found there.
I do have "Hogan's Index of Dams of Stakes-Winners" and Keylock's Dams of Winners, 1915-1947 & 1948 to 1956. And 2 General Stud Books (1933 & 1945) and a scary stack of ARMs. And Ulbrich's "Peerage of Racehorses", which is a trip to the ER if dropped on your toe. And a book on foundation stock of Quarter Horses. One day I'm sure I will die under a bibliovanche. I just know it.
I also cracked my tablet in the course of hunting down and killing a rather large cockroach. That got in bed with me. Yeah, there's nothing like having a roach clamber into your bed (except maybe having a scorpion clamber into your bed and sting you, and yes, I've been through that. Twice.). But the tablet fell, cracked and now it doesn't respond and I just ordered a new one from Amazon and I'm nervous about it. Killing roaches does sometimes require sacrifices. Like tablets, dignity, banged up knuckles, shattered nerves, the neighbors wondering if I'm being murdered. I mean, yeah, I screamed. Clearly I'm not a candidate for reality TV.
So I'll play catchup tonight.

I don't know if you can use this, but Murrmatch 1972 is by Murrayfield (GB) out of Lobinstown Pilgrim by Tyrone (Fr) out of Lawn Wood (GB)
Colonel's Pet b.Decrevi (1895?)son of Astrologer son of Hermit, according to the Irish Registered Stallion Book. Haven't been able to establish YOB on them yet. (A pedigree up on Pedigreequery lists his dam as Purity? Unable to verify yet.)
The Touchstone I am finding is a GB model, and an article about him on TBHeritage but I found him listed in a Catalogue of "stallions, broodmare and foals" as
Touchstone 1831-1861 by Camel by Whalebone
X Banter by Master Henry.
TBHeritage lists him as this:
Touchstone by Camel (1822) x Banter
Camel by Whalebone x"mare by Selim?"
Banter by Master Henry x Boadica (1807)

So far I can't help much for the year and matriarchal lineage, except to confirm that Famosa's pedigree reads
Murmatch x Tocazze Sunbird.

My weekend was loony. Still feeling like I'm an hour behind. ("Why isn't anybody at church yet?" <doink>) None of my picks won in the BC races. Medina Spirit at least gave a good show, sans skin rash cream, I assume.
The Kenya pedigrees are a pain in the tuchis, for sure. There's a Volume X of the Kenya Stud Book online and it's fun, but lawdy mercy, it's useless, too.
Someone at the Kenya Jockey Club sent me all the winners of all of Kenya's Triple Crown races and then disappeared and I never could get hold of her again, and then the Kenya Jockey Club website vanished as well. Will I be able to find next year's Triple Crown race winners? We'll see!
I use all of the following pedigree search sites, aside from BRIS, Equineline and PQ:
http://www.studbook.org.au/ (yearly subscription: $60 US; APR is $275, Equineline, $300+!)
https://www.bloodstockreports.co.uk/wea ... /wbr/home/ (you can create a free account)
https://www.bloodhound.net.au/cgi-bin/f ... 5&r_id=201 (free account)
https://www.studbook.jp/en/ (free account)
https://www.aro.co.za/index.php (free account)
I suspect nearly everybody already knows about these sites, but just in case...

You're not kidding about the Kenya Studbooks
Sometimes I admit to having three different pages open at once to track down and verify, because it's a slow process lol.
Hopefully you get caught up and back in the swing of things!

I haven't been able to figure out how they are related, or if they even are-- maybe the connection between them is that they were bred by the same man?Collarcelle(KEN), 1933c
color/year of birth unknown
pedigree unknown
dam of 2 classic winners in Kenya
Anyway, in the EA Studbook of 1954, Wise Dove is mentioned with simply a line leading to Collarcelle. Both were bred by Capt JB Soames, so maybe that's why?
I can only find snippets of that Studbook online.

Popping in briefly. Haven't forgotten the project. Life has become very, very busy lately. Between work and caring for my Mom, who has had all kinds of health issues since November of 2019 (COVID first and now a blood clot in her lung, a touch of pneumonia, nose bleeds because of the blood thinners she's on and basically just age-related slowing down), everything is else taking a back seat. I'm still slogging away, when things ever do slow down, on the female lines of classic winners/Breeders' Cup race winners, as well as English Triple Crown race winners, American Triple Crown race winners, plus the KY Oaks, Pimlico Oaks, CCA Oaks, Acorn, Mother Goose and Alabama winners. Right now I've gotten as far as the 1960-something CCA Oaks. Plus I have the occasional joy of adding a new mare to my 'Dams of 2 or More Classic Winners' project. And keeping up with Triple Crown race winners from around the world. Plus pounding my head against the desk because of writers' block.
It's been a tough year. The research keeps me calm. Much thanks to everyone who does pedigree digging for me. It's greatly appreciated.

Quick query. Quite obscure:
Pat-See, probably foaled 2018, filly, sired by Westonian out of Needsumluck. Won the Kenya Fillies' Guineas on 3/2 at Ngong Racecourse.
Pedigree isn't found anywhere online so far, but I haven't looked everywhere. Any clues?
Been incredibly busy these past few weeks. Mom's health problems, my back troubles... ugh... between all that and work I barely get anything done any more. I'm currently slogging through female lines of Prix Royal Oak winners (finished Prix du Jockey-Club and French 2000 Guineas winners). I've already finished American and English Triple Crown race winners, as well as all Breeders' Cup race winners. I even work on that stuff during lulls at work, because that work is more interesting than work. The past few days have been exhausting, and weekends consist of sleep and house projects that must be done so the house can be live-in-able.
