SILVER STATE entered in the Parx Dirt Mile this coming Saturday. Prepping for the BC Dirt Mile, no doubt. The Met Mile was a Win and You're In race, so that is where I expect we will see him on BC weekend.

SILVER STATE finished 2nd in the Parx Dirt Mile yesterday. He had a bad start (looked like he hopped at the start) and was trailing the field in the early stages. Rallied to pass them all on the far turn and got to the lead, but was nipped at the wire. Unlucky start and wide trip on the turn got him beat. He ran great, though. Hope for better luck in the BC Dirt Mile. I think Life is Good is pointing to the same race.

HARD STRIKE is nominated to The Gladstone (Three-Year-Old Hurdle Stakes) at Far Hills on October 16. He was claimed out of his win on Sept 9 at Kentucky Downs. So, it looks like a new career for him. I am seeing quite a few Hard Spuns making this transition. Surely the success of Doc Cebu and Snap Decision has a lot to do with this sudden interest.

BOOBY TRAP is nominated to The Foxbrook Champion Hurdle (Sport of Kings Novice Hurdle Stakes) and also The Appleton Stakes (Ratings Handicap Hurdle) the same day at Far Hills.

SNAP DECISION is nominated to The Grand National G1 (Hurdle Stakes) also on the same day at Far Hills. Hopefully he avenges his loss to The Mean Queen here.

ALOHA WEST finished 2nd in the Phoenix Stakes at Keeneland today, but he certainly ran like the best horse. It was a win and you're in for the BC sprint and his connections have said they are going to the BC with him after that performance.

REVENIR won race #2 at Remington Park today. First time starter, SILVER WARRIOR broke very slowly, trailed the field early, and closed willingly to get 3rd place.
