If it is true, it's very sad. If it is fake, someone is a real A**hole.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I don't believe anything on Facebook. I'm going with the picture on Facebook, supposedly from Coolmore.com is super fake. Coolmore doesn't use the date format that is shown under that picture on ANYTHING on their webpage. They use DAY/MONTH/YEAR. Meanwhile the date format under that photo is 9-5-2021

Coolmore has also always been very fast about announcing their stallions deaths, including Galileo and Mastercraftsman this year, they were both announced the day they died. I'll believe it if a big name source picks it up, otherwise its fake news to me.

What if he just had another colic episode and that knowledge got twisted around to that he died from it?

Really hoping it's fake. As much as you may dislike the owners and trainer....Max is a beautiful horse and doesn't deserve an early end due to such a horrible disease as colic. And we've lost sooo many favorites this year already (Goldikova, Malibu moon, mastercraftsmen, Galileo)

The photo that this person posted to her Facebook and then made a Public Facebook group to post it again, is clearly photoshopped. Coolmore doesn't post death notices that way. Besides the date format being clearly wrong, every stallion that they have had pass in the past couple years, their news post has been in the format Stallion Name (birth year - death year), nothing else.

Its fake 100% and the person is disgusting. I don't need confirmation from Coolmore to know its fake.

She got the attention, which is what she wanted...putting people through that is sick and demented. I guess she got her jollies, but at least MS is ok

Surely if it were true any reputable source would know it is "too," not "to."

I’m so mad that someone had the nerve to spread this awful rumor. I feel so bad for even posting about the rumor in the forum

What a bizarre thing to do. Well, I am happy that he is alive and well. He wasn't able to chose his connections.

Sodashi had won this race last year.

It's still September.
But I'm already convinced that Drefong(USA) will be a major stallion in Japan.
He added four winners this weekend moving to the top of the JRA 2yo sire-ranking (of all stallions)!!
The son of Gio Ponti has had ten individual JRA winners to date, from 1200m to 1800m, on either surface.

Considering Gio Ponti, and thus Drefong, is a Storm Cat line sire, maybe not surprising he has clicked with the SS/DI mares there.
