The With Anticipation at Saratoga, a 1 1/16-mile G3 stakes on turf for 2yo, has Silipo (Candy Ride x Lisa's Booby Trap) and Coinage (Tapit x Bar of Gold) running. Should be a good race.

She had a 2020 Gun Runner colt, and apparently a 2021 filly by Omaha Beach

The owner/trainer, Timothy Snyder, died in 2015. I haven't found anything about the mare passing, so I hope she still is in someone's broodmare band.

Very impressive win by Coinage in the With Anticipation....went to the front and stayed there. Ears up the whole way.

More blue bloods running at Saratoga: La Victoria (Tapit x La Verdad) is running in the 10th, a 1 1/16-mile state bred MSW on the grass. That's a pretty fancy state bred pedigree.
Also has the wildly-colored Saluki (War Dancer x Colorfull Seattle [Airdrie Apache]).

The mare didn't get in foal the first year but the breeder of all her foals, 2016 onwards has been bred by KatieRich Farms. Her first foal was born in NY and all after have been in Kentucky.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 5:36 pm The owner/trainer, Timothy Snyder, died in 2015. I looked it up at one point and want to say at that point, Katie Rich Farm owned her. Whoops, late on the draw.BaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 5:36 pm The owner/trainer, Timothy Snyder, died in 2015. I have always found it so random that Lucky Soph ended up front and center in the pedigree of two of the craziest stories in racing at the same time.

After going to Big Brown, Tale of the Cat, Hard Spun and Candy Ride. The first three did nothing...yet she managed to get into CR and IM’s books. I’m really surprised about the latter.mariasmon wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 11:42 amShe went to Into Mischief this year. Her Big Brown colt, Not That Brady, won the Damon Runyon (AQU) and the New York Stakes (FL). He was 2nd in the G3 Withers to Tax.

Spendthrift breeds Into Mischief to as many mares as they can, quality or lack thereof, is never a factor. They also sell frozen semen to be used on quarter horse mares. I'm not saying the mare is bad either, this is just a general assessment of the Spendthrift breeding policy, that may as well be "if she can get pregnant and the owner will pay the stud fee, then bring her on over."Slewfan2 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 12:49 pmAfter going to Big Brown, Tale of the Cat, Hard Spun and Candy Ride.
