Captaire, Uncle Mo x Love the Chase, debuts in the first at DM--half to California Chrome.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

8/5 morning line favorite, but I'm concerned.....
Lacking the traditional 5F bullet gate work recently, thinking just maybe the trainer is waiting for the stretchout???
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Gamine is still the best female dirt sprinter, even though she was slow to switch leads in the stretch. Once she did, she started to slowly pull away from the field.

Broke her neck? What a freakish tragedy.
My condolences to Mandy Pope and all her connections and grooms.
For the breed, it's sad to lose one of Leslie Lady's few daughters

Fell due to fractured sesamoid and then died from a cervical fracture on impact, it sounds horrific. Condolences to connections and thoughts to whoever had to witness that, especially the exercise rider.

Per my friend, the rider said it all happened in a few seconds and the filly didn't suffer long, which....thank god, because just reading about it makes me shudder.
