While she survived the foaling of King Fury and it was reported she was going to be bred back to Curlin that year, she died before that happened, most likely from foaling complications that weren't known at the time they announced the colt's birth and her 2018 visit to Curlin. She doesn't have a death report on file. But its been mentioned in articles, here is one:

My understanding is that she died after King Fury was foaled. That's been "out there" (although never officially) for several years.

Do they not need to file a dealth report with the JC?

It would only be required if they file an insurance claim. Otherwise, no one makes owners file a death report for their horses.

Smokey Glacken, age 20, has been pensioned at Old Friends. She was a MGSW and earner of $656,960. She was sold for $1.35m at Fasig Tipton November in 2006. She is a 1/2 sister to Champion Smoke Glacken and she produced SW Smokin Now. Though bred the past couple years, her last live foal was Excessive Lady (by Uncle Mo)in 2018. She is the bay in the photo.

The chestnut, is Miss Du Bois, age 27, who was pensioned to Old Friends around 2016. She is the dam of G1SW Film Maker.

Racing Post did an article on Mariah's Storm and her family(its most likely behind the paywall since I haven't found it), so Coolmore went and took a picture of her. She is showing her age but at 30yo she still looks bright.

Not really. A lot of these W series white spotting foals are born with some colour like that on the top of their head and ears. Most have lost it by a few years old.
Not as much of a solid coloured marking as you'd get when it's produced by several normal white patterns (tobiano, splash, overo etc).

Thank you for the explanation! It sure is a pretty marking though! :D

From Claiborne:

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that PRAISE has passed away at age 27 due to the infirmities of old age. Though she will be missed, her legacy will live on through her progeny, including sires FLATTER and CONGRATS. Pictured here in 2017 with her final foal Plea.
