MOHS won race #1 at Monmouth today by 9 1/2 lengths. His record is now 5-1-2-0.

OTHER THINGS EQUAL had a nice win in race # 7 at Delaware Park today. First time blinkers. His record is now 23-4-5-1. He has now won 2 in a row, so, half his wins have come in his last two races. Maybe this is a case of someone finally figuring him out? Would be nice if that were the case.

AJOURNEYTOFREEDOM won race #6 at Saratoga today. 1 1/2 miles on the grass. He had some horrible traffic in the stretch and had to check sharply at one point, but he circled three runners and got up before the wire. Another long-winded son of Hard Spun? The pace set by the early leader was glacial, so the final time is slow. Even so, he still was able to close from the back of the pack. Nice win. His record is now 18-3-4-2. He is G2 placed in his previous start and he had previously placed in a G3 race, so hopefully he has some stakes wins in his future. Mike Maker is bringing him along. One to watch maybe.

TIGHTLY TWISTED won the Big Dreyfus Stakes (race #6) at Pimlico today. 1 1/8 miles on the turf. Her career record is now 21-5-4-5. Emotional win for her connections. Really cool!

LOOK ME OVER had a really nice allowance win in race #5 at Ellis Park today. Her record is now 13-2-1-4. Seems like her new trainer has figured her out. Two wins and a third since the trainer change. That third place was in the slop and she was beaten 29 lengths. Obviously didn't like the surface, but she has won both turf races since the trainer switch.

BOOBY TRAP won a maiden hurdle race at Colonial Downs today. 2 miles over the jumps. This was only his second hurdle race.

ROCKETRY ran a flat race in the Birdstone, finishing a distant 4th. However Hard Spun is the broodmare sire of the winner, Lone Rock, via Ruby Lips. He seems to be developing a pretty good record as a broodmare sire.

SILVER STATE finished a respectable 3rd in the Whitney today. His win streak is over, but he's got more wins in him, no doubt. I hope he can get another G1 win. He would be the first son of HS to do so. He already has a free ticket to the BC Dirt Mile. I wonder where we will see him next? Woodward? or does that come up too soon?
