Actually i think it has more to do with the natural climate being milder (as strange as it may seem). The vast majority of mares stay outdoors 24/7, even now very few stud farms have indoor foaling boxes, so the mares need to be closer to spring to have a more natural breeding cycle.

Filly by Fastnet Rock out of G3W Insta Erma (Pioneerof the Nile). Insta Erma was a Zayat horse and was bought by Australian breeders in 2018.

I just found out that Lotta Kim foaled a Bernardini filly named Brilliance this Spring..! My heart is still broken, but I’m so glad that Rachel has a sister ...and, I love the name

The loss of Bernadini, Galileo, Arazi, & Goldikova really got to me this year😢😢😢😢

It never ends... Racing is a hard sport because we always have to suffer the loss of horses we love, even if it’s not on the track.

I wonder what color that golden colt will end up? If he were another breed, I would suspect palomino.

Cream is present in TBs. Lots of palominos, buckskins and double dilute cremellos, perlinos, smokey creams etc.
Vast majority are just show lines, not racing lines.
