This was interesting for a comment in the article saying SNAP DECISION will not be going to Saratoga for the G1 races there because they are handicaps and they really pile the weight on you if you are good, unlike flat racing where weights are just token. SNAP carried 165 in one of his races last summer, so we know it's true.

SPINOFF hasn't worked in over 30 days. He was entered and scratched about a month ago and was working regularly for awhile before that. Then crickets.

Wonder what happened to him.

PRETTY CLEVER won race #3 at Belmont today. Quite a dual with the second place horse and they were 11 3/4 lengths ahead of the third place horse. Brave win. She didn't give up. Her record is now 3-1-1-0.

HEY PADRE won race #7 at Delaware Park today despite being interfered with during the stretch run and carried out several paths by a rival. His record is now 6-2-1-0.

Best part of that news for ATTACHMENT RATE is a different trainer than Dale Romans. I think A THREAD OF BLUE has won over $1million, hasn't he? The Saratoga Derby is now a G1 race. So they geld him? Some people are never satisfied. I hope he ends up in a good place.

CADDO RIVER last raced in Woody Stephens early June 2021. No activity since then.

Is he injured? I expected to see him in some of the 3yo graded stakes over the summer. He did have a unusually bad speed figure in the Woody Stephens and didn't race since then. Wonder what's up.

I haven't seen any news about him. He finished last in that race, very unlike him. It's hard not knowing what is going on. I think THE SOUND finished last in his most recent race, which was about the same time. Haven't heard anything about him since, either.
