Coeursamba(FR) winner of the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches(G1) and Incarville(FR) winner of the Prix Saint-Alary(G1) have been purchased by Katsumi Yoshida. The 2 fillies will remain with their current trainers until their racing careers are over, when they will ship to Japan and become broodmares at Northern Farm.

If that DQ is undone, I will lose all faith in the British rules.
And I am SO tired of hearing the discussions about possible infractions centering on 'did it cost a horse a placing?' How about, 'did it endanger another horse or rider?'
Whether or not it cost another runner a placing (or bettors some money), isn't the most important aspect of riding rules to ensure the SAFETY of the competitors?
If a runner comes out into another horse and knocks it sideways, or brings the legs of both runners dangerously close to being entangled, you're looking at a potentially fatal fall.
I wish the stewards would make it clear that bringing everyone home safe is far more important than purses or bets. If they don't make that clear, and levy painful penalties for dangerous riding, IMHO that only encourages reckless riders to keep doing what they're doing.

Another Derby winner for Frankel as Hurricane Lane ran down Lone Eagle to win the Irish version at the Curragh. Thrilling finish.

Oisin Murphy finished second in a 1.10cm (3’6) amateur show jumping class at Hickstead today! It’s great to see jockeys competing in other equine disciplines.

Three-year-old St Mark's Basilica took down the Coral Eclipse. Maybe it was only a four-horse field, but he beat Addeybb and Mishriff, two of the best older turf horses in the world.

There's a paywall article on Racing Post that makes it sound like (by the title) Oisin Murphy bought Dragon Symbol? How?

Sisfahan won the G1 Deutsches Derby(German Derby) at Hamburg on July 4th. He is from the first crop of 2016 Deutches Derby(G1) winner, Isfahan. His male lines goes back to Shirley Heights and of course, his sire, Mill Reef, whose sire line isn't seen much anymore.
Sisfahan's dam, Kendalee, was a winning hurdler, and her half brother, Beaumec De Houelle, was a G1SW over the hurdles at age 3 and was retired to stud in his 4yo year.

I really enjoy watching TVG's international programming, which includes lovely tracks like Leopardstown, Newmarket and ParisLongchamp this morning.
I heard some unfortunate news from a European commentator that Subjectivist, the impressive winner of the Ascot Gold Cup, has 'been ruled out' for the rest of the season with an injury. RacingPost has an article:

A G1 double for Coolmore at Belmont today, probably helps take the sting out of the loss of Galileo.
Between Santa Barbara (Camelot) and Bolshoi Ballet (Galileo), I think going on from today, Santa Barbara has the brighter future. That turn of foot was electric, whereas Bolshoi Ballet was getting scrubbed along for the 2nd half of the race.

I watched the G1 Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp this morning, and was very impressed by Hurricane Lane. That was a nice field behind him, but the colt won easily. This son of Frankel might end up winning the race that his sire never crossed the Channel to contest.

The Irish Oaks is today. Unsurprisingly, Coolmore is represented by 5 of the 8 runners. I'm torn on who I want to win. Since I love pedigrees I had to include notes on the dam side if there was a horse of note close.
Racingpost has the favorite as Epsom Oaks(G1) winner, Snowfall at 2/7. Followed by 3 more Coolmore fillies at 10/1 - Divinely, Nicest, and Willow.
2nd choice is Divinely, who finished 3rd in the Epsom Oaks(G1).
1. Ahandfulofsummers (Galileo - Scream Blue Murder, by Oratoirio) - hasn't won a race. The 6th filly in the race with a Coolmore tie in, as she is owned in partnership by Cayton Park Stud & Mrs John Magnier. and was bred in partnership of Coolmore and Drakenstein Stud
2. Divinely (Galileo - Red Evie, by Intikhab) 3rd in the Epsom Oaks(G1) - full sister to Found. - Coolmore owned
3. La Joconde (Frankel - Wadyhatta, by Cape Cross) won a maiden last out/Sp at 2. 1/2 sister to 2020 Irish Derby(G1) winner Santiago - Coolmore owned
4. Mariesque (Lawman - Mireille, by Dalakhani) maiden winner.
5. Nicest (American Pharoah - Chicquita, by Montjeu) G2Spw. Dam is a 1/2 to Magic Wand - Coolmore owned
6. Party House (Camelot - Crazy Volume, by Machiavellian) Spw. 1/2 to MG1 Gallante
7. Snowfall (Deep Impact - Best In The World, by Galileo) won Epsom Oaks(G1) last out. dam is full to Found - Coolmore owned
8. Willow (American Pharoah - Peeping Fawn, by Danehill) SW. ran last in the Epsom Oaks but won a listed stakes last out. dam is a MG1SW.
Racingpost has the forecasted betting as:
1/3 Snowfall, 6/1 Nicest, 9/1 Divinely, 12/1 Willow, 25/1 Mariesque, Party House, 33/1 La Joconde, 50/1 Ahandfulofsummers.
