Thoroughbred owners who deal almost exclusively in seven figure deals aren't well versed in rehoming retired racehorses who usually go for $1000-$3000. Someone local to the community where the horse is being rehomed (aka not Arcadia, California or Elmont, New York) and/or someone or a company who specializes in rehoming would be a better choice. Adena Springs is known for their retirement program but they have staff who match the horse to the buyer to make sure it is a good fit.Squeaky wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 8:43 amThanks- they really let him get heavy. Wonder what they are asking for him? What disciplines can he be trained for? Hope he finds a soft landing. Surprised the Gunthers aren’t handling this sale?
The post says he is sound so I would imagine he can be trained to do whatever you want, assuming he isn't a maniac (not always a given).
