He is 23 and as of last year was still covering 120 mares. But the average conception rate of a thoroughbred is only 60% so it may just be bad luck that she didn't get in foal. Or it could be that age is catching up to him, his sire stood until he was 26 when declining fertility forced his pensioning.

But that leads to the question was part of him syndicated when he went to stud or lifetime breeding rights sold? I could see them cutting out breedings to outside breeders that don't have an ownership interest in the stallion. But if they did the syndicate or the lifetime breeding rights then those people are entitled to X breedings a year.
