Australia stud fees question

Because they paid $75 million for Justify and have to get everything they can before his foals race. Add to that the Unbridled sire line isn't particularly known as being turf sires and hasn't done particularly well in Australia, while Justify's sire Scat Daddy was a really good sire on both dirt and turf, it makes sense he would be more appealing, thus they could set his stud fee higher. Another factor would be AP has foals of racing age in Australia (they are 3) so Australian breeders will want to see how he does as a sire in Australia because success or failure elsewhere doesn't mean much. For example, Galileo was a failure in Australia.
