Last time I saw Editor in Chief he was in the Baffert barn in SoCal, not doing much. Guess he broke his maiden somewhere. (Another dismissed from The Program.)
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

The Irish flat season is already up and running and the card at Navan on Saturday opens with a maiden, in which Young Angel is set to make her debut. Perfect Grace (Tapit x Havre de Grace) finished a decent 2nd in a MSW for 3yo fillies at Gulfstream today. Lovely golden chestnut.

I didn't know that Questing had died, that's too bad, I loved her when she was racing. Between Questing and It's Tricky, Godolphin lost two good mares too young, but at least they left at least one quality foal behind.

guilty confession: it takes me a few seconds when i see MSW in this context to go "right, not Multiple Stakes Winner, thats Maiden Special Weight"

Little Belle also died young, but did leave behind G1W Dickinson as one of her 3 foals.

Don't know how much talent is there, but I do not think that is mostly why he ran so badly. The horse didn't look race fit in the walking ring ( he is big and still has a bit of baby fat on the belly), and then he was throwing his head and climbing some from the get go. I think they will have to work out some mental issues with him.

Plus the race was only 6.5f. PotN babies generally need longer.CorridorZ75 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 5:42 pmDon't know how much talent is there, but I do not think that is mostly why he ran so badly.
