I can’t wait to get back. When I woke up from being unconscious I was telling my parents I needed to get back to the farm because Luna was going to foal lol. I hate that five brain bleeds, fractured temporal lobe and minor hearing loss is going to keep me away for a while
And I’m going to lose the foaling competition I have with the other night watch person this year

But you won the 'survivor' competition, and that's the best prize.
Considering what that over-protective mare did to you, I would guess that the other night watch person is not going to be working alone this foaling season. :(

Standardbred babies are so weird but so cute, expecially if they have particularly pronounced convex heads. Here's one by Shadow Play out of Blue Paradise from Winbak Farm.

What looks to be a very rare gray standardbred.

Oh I’m definitely grateful to win that prize for sure. The other guy is still by himself, but he doesn’t go in that mare’s stall because she was still attacking people with a lead rope attached. He was also able to convince management not to have him feed mares in the early morning because it’s dangerous feeding them in the dark since they fight over food. I do hope if we do have to do stuff to horses by ourselves, we have to have security nearby no matter what

Might be a "duh" question but have they tried using a stallions' chain on her or that one tool they have that ges over their lips?

Wouldn’t be surprised if they have to now because she still attacked people with a regular rope on her

Geez, I hope that mare's offspring are worth it. I am glad you're on the way to recovery, Summer Bird! What a scary thing to have happen.
