On the right is 29yo Bail Out Becky - G1SW/granddam of Stephanie's Kitten, etc. with her friend 10yo Winekeeper at Ramsey Farm. Bail Out Becky is retired, Winekeeper is maybe a current broodmare, she was bred in the past but wasn't for a 2021 foal. The pic is kind of blurry but that was what was shared.

I can't believe Bail Out Becky is 29. I remember watching her race against the likes of Different, Perfect Arc, and Alpride.

Juddmonte home-bred Zenda died sadly in 2019, but two of her daughters remain in the Juddmonte broodmare band - Panzanella(GB) and Present Tense - both will visit Frankel this year.

Forest Music is gone.
@Stonestreet Farm
It is with immense sadness that we report the passing of one of our foundation mares, Forest Music. Forest Music was the first graded stakes winner for Stonestreet Stables and produced classic sire Maclean's Music and multiple graded stakes winners. She will be dearly missed.

Canadian HOTY Sealy Hill dead at 17 from 'infirmities of old age'.
Must have had underlying issues as 17 is not old at all for a horse

Awww nooo
She more than proved she was an even better broodmare than a racehorse, and that's saying something. I still remember her tremendous win in the American Oaks. Beautiful, tall, black and fast.
Condolences to her connections.

Maybe not.CorridorZ75 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 8:55 pmTragic news. Was it during foaling? Oh, just saw it was a ruptured uterine artery. Not much can be done about that.
She was in foal to Lord Kanaloa, but her due date was May 1st.

IIRC, Cesario has more than one good son at stud. If they establish themselves as good sires, I think in a few generations Cesario will be viewed as a foundation mare. I hope she also has some daughters to carry on her heritage.

Viola died at 3.
And she only had Celia in 2015, First Folio in 2017 and a Lord Kanaloa filly in 2020

I remember watching on TV Cesario's American Oaks. Great race, great call by Vic Stauffer--I'm very sad to hear this. She was special.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.
