HARD NOT TO LOVE entered in Santa Monica Stakes (G2) at Santa Anita on Feb 13. I guess Mike Smith isn't riding her anymore as this is the second race in a row he isn't on her. She won this race in 2020. She is back to a sprint...finally. All 3 of her wins have been in sprints.

ROCKING REDHEAD had a nice front running allowance win in race #1 at Santa Anita today. Going 1-1/8 miles off a 3 month layoff seemed like a tall order, but she had no trouble with it. Her record is now 4-2-0-0.

When freezing temperatures and cold rolled into Arkansas earlier this month, Cox shipped him from Oaklawn to his division at Fair Grounds in warmer New Orleans, a move that has kept the Smarty Jones Stakes winner on schedule to start in the $1 million Rebel Stakes (G2) at Oaklawn March 13. He's posted two works at Fair Grounds while Oaklawn has been shuttered, including a bullet five furlongs in :59 Feb. 20.

LOVELY TROPHY GIRL won race #3 at Tampa Bay today. Her record is now 3-1-0-0. It was a rather wildly run race. She was bumped hard coming out of the gate by a horse that seemed rather out of control and then another pair were involved in a run-in that caused one rider to lose his irons. But LTG ran a clean race herself.

ANTOINETTE wins The Very One Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream. 1-3/16 miles fresh off a layoff. She looked great and few of the "experts" gave her any chance. She is now a graded stakes winner! YEP! Her record is now 11-4-1-4. This was her first graded win, although she was already a stakes winner and G1 placed on both turf and dirt. She placed 2nd in the G1Belmont Oaks (T) and 3rd in the G1 CCA Oaks last year. She won the ungraded Tepin Stakes (off the turf) and Saratoga Oaks (T) last year. She earned a 93 Beyer number. Her best yet, I believe.

ATTACHMENT RATE won race #7 at Gulfstream Park today, an allowance. His record is now 13-3-3-1. Lagged at the back for most of the race. He really covered a lot of ground turning for home. Very wide out in the middle of the track. He still ran by them all. Would love to see this guy win some graded stakes.

CHILLER won race #12 at Sam Houston yesterday. Maiden claiming race. Switched to dirt and he took off. Won by 7 1/2 lengths. His record is now 2-1-0-0.
