California Chrome ended 2020 with the following stats (which I'm getting from TDN):

Starters: 45
Ind. Winners: 13
Total Wins: 15
Total Earnings: $534,320
Highest Earner: Cilla - $60,400 (also G1P)

Per BH...He finishes at #12 in the Top 20 Freshman Sires of 2020. He sits behind Brody's Cause by about 40K (and CC has more winners than him) and above former roomie Mshawish by about 20K.

I can't find a list that includes placings. I believe the BH list includes starts from Japan, HK, etc. but not Russia, so Butterfly Bars' exploits have not been counted.

ALSO: California Lily (who we thought might be injured) ran on New Year's Day at Gulfstream Park, finishing seventh. So, she must've either not been injured or healed quickly.

Beachside Bunny (f. o/o Sweet Factory) finished 3rd in Tampa Bay Race 5 (January 9).

Striking Chrome (f. o/o Island Striker) WON Tampa Bay Downs Race 3 (January 9).

Da Chrome (c. o/o Favorably) WON Laurel Park Race 2 in his third start (January 10). Carolina Chrome (g. o/o Sacred Forest) finished fourth on debut.

Magnificent Chrome broke his maiden today at Aqueduct in Race 6. He won by just over a neck and is Chrome's 16th individual winner worldwide.

Lonestar Chrome (c. o/o Stormy Gigi) finished third on debut in Sam Houston's Race 10 (January 22).

He is a half-brother to G.G. Ryder, a MGSW who is now a stallion in California.

There's a Chrome foal in the Philippines out of Forgotten Lady (o/o G3W Nikki's Smartypants). Not sure the gender or age.

Chilean Dona Athenea finished fourth in her second start on January 30. It was Race 5 at Hippodromo Chile and the track was very sloppy.

First starter equals first winner for California Chrome in Europe as Injera defeats Norrey ( Le Havre) at Chantilly. On another note, I have always hoped that owners of Le Havre mares would send a few to Chrome as I am interested in how the cross would turn out. Shadai owns plenty of them ( and most of the best runners) but Chrome kids will have to step up their games for them to even consider going outside their small army of stallions.

Roar of Cali (o.o. Distant Roar by Storm Cat) finshed 7th in the nightcap at Turfway.

Cilla was fourth in the LA Bred Premier Starlet Stakes.

She was several lengths behind the winner Australasia (Sky Kingdom) but I thought she had a good race for her first one back.

Yeah, she was not exactly working like she was geared up to run a big one first time out.

Cattaleya Ronith (f. o/o Eve Giselle) broke her maiden going gate-to-wire in Tampa Bay's Race 8 yesterday. She drew away to win by about 2 1/2. She was second in her only previous race in December.

Dam is G3W and from the family of ROBERTO.

Incredible (California Chrome) pulled away to win by over 4 lengths in Chile. I believe this is his first Chilean winner.

Also, Roadhouse Blues won recently.
