I could fit a halter better than that when I was a 12 year old newbie.

Killybegs Captain (Mizzen Mast x Al Maha, by Holy Bull) at Mill Creek in New York for 2020. This GSW has no inbreeding in his first five generations and both parents are gray. I am interested to see if he's homozygous gray.

Looks like there was some judicious editing in the 5th leg area :D

Northport, Chrome does look fantastic. All dappled and shiny. There is a Japanese lady who visits him often, takes pictures and videos, and shares them with Chrome's non-Japanese fans. He seems happy at Arrow Stud. I hope he is successful for them and stays there for the rest of his life. He is still getting shipments of Mrs. Pasture's cookies from American fans. :)

Tachyon, I like Aldebaran, especially his nice short pasterns. In general, TBs tend to have longish pasterns in comparison to other breeds. I've been following the Facebook page of a lady from England who has three pleasure horses, a Friesan gelding, an Arabian gelding, and an Andalusian yearling filly. It's been interesting to see their conformation differences, and I particularly noticed that they all have short pasterns similar to Aldebaran. I wonder if the tendency in TBs toward longer pasterns contributes to unsoundness.

Yes. Aren't her horses adorable? It's really lovely to watch her interaction with them.

Yeah. The channel was in my recommended over the summer, right after they got Bella and its been really amazing to see how much the filly has changed in that short time. From being a skinny, unwell, wild, scrawny little thing who didn't know what a treat was, to a gorgeous horse with trust, confidence, a love for treats, life and a willingness to learn. I like the other 2 horses as well and its really cool seeing the interactions, how she trained the geldings to bring their supper bowls and how well they are at verbal commands.

First, I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes the shorter pasterns. Whenever I watch the sales, first thing I do is go to the pasterns. Too long and I feel like it's asking for injury. Same with the angle. I want a nice angle, not too steep,.

Second, who's facebook page is this? I' think I'd enjoy following that page!

Also, the differences in conformation is interesting. One of my dad's oldest friends breeds Rocky Mountain Horses, and I was at their house, looking at their conformation shots before visiting the barn. I noted the longer pastern and was told that is what you want on them because they are gaited.
