I assumed Bahjatty was just a teaser that they were advertising for his "reward" (since he does have a nice pedigree).

I did a bit of digging and found reference to Bahjatty here:

Flip to the bottom of the first page of that PDF, and he's listed there. Basically, he was retired unraced at 2 due to injury, but Shadwell felt because he was from one of their "better families" and is a "very good-looking colt" that they would give him a chance out of state and see what he produced.
His picture on the Bloodhorse Stallion Register in particular is ... unfortunate.

I dunno—I think his battle against laminitis was more impressive than anything he did on the track.

He battled laminitis for quite awhile. They just didn't say anything about it until they thought he would live and he was retired due to it in February.
