Golden Ami (4 year old filly) won a 6.5F $80,222 (Canadian) allowance race at Woodbine yesterday. Time of race was 1:14:53
This was only Golden Ami's second race. She did not hit the racetrack until this year as a 4 year old. Don't know why, but she is undefeated in two races.

Golden Candy (3 year old colt) is entered in the Steel Valley Sprint Stakes, a 200K stakes race at the Mahoning Valley Racecourse on 11/23/20. Golden Candy has won five races including three allowance races and is stakes placed.
Golden Candy won the 100K First State Dash Stakes as a 2 year old at Delaware Park, which for some reason is not considered a black type or listed stakes race. I have no idea why. Anyone know?

I am high on a 2 year old named Goldenite who makes his debut on Saturday (12/19) at the Fair Grounds. He has had three bullet works which is a good sign, Trouble is, he did not exactly pick an easy spot. There are about a half dozen colts in the same race that sold for six figures including a 385K and a 370K. Also top trainers like Asmussen, Mark Casse, Dallas Stewart, Albert Stall, Tom Amoss have horses in that race and Brad Cox, who has been hot lately, has a couple. Big time sires too like Into Mischief.
So, I am hoping for a good race for Goldenite. With the apparently tough competition, I would be happy if he just finishes in the money and has a decent time. Go Goldenite.

Goldencents has three of his progeny running in stakes races on 12/26. 2 year old stakes winner No Cents is entered in the 7F 100K Heft Stakes at Laurel Park.
Malibu Mischief (4 year old filly) is entered in the 6F 100K Willa On The Move Stakes, also at Laurel Park. Malibu Mischief is hoping to keep her 6 race winning streak going.
Going To Vegas (3 year old filly) is entered in the 10F 300K grade 1 American Oaks at Santa Anita Park.

Goldenite was kind of a disappointment in his first race finishing 9th, over 15 lengths back but, according to the chart, did have some excuses. First of all, the winner named Prate looked very impressive. He is by hot sire Into Mischief and could be a real Derby prospect in 2021.
Goldenite started slow, was bumped and taken up where he spotted the leaders many lengths, according to the chart. It was his first race, so with a race under his belt, and an easier spot, I expect Goldenite to do better, maybe much better. Probably won't be a 2021 Kentucky Derby prospect, but I still want to see how he does in his next race.

Going To Vegas (3 year old filly) finished second in the 10F 300K grade 1 American Oaks at Santa Anita yesterday. It was the third straight graded stakes race that she finished runner up in. One of these days, she might even win one of these graded stakes races.
