Congrats to Lucky Lilac who returned to her previous form.

Tachyon, do you think it's possible both Sodashi and Meikei Yell will clash in the Juvenile Fillies at Hanshin?

I'm happy whenever I see an Orfevre offspring do good at the races. Orfevre is a favorite of mine.

Thanks for the heads-up! :D
I had no idea there was already a black-type inbred to Sunday Silence in the states.
I've just seen the replay of the G3 Valley View Stakes at Keeneland.
3yo filly Princess Grace(USA), 3x3, really looked like a winner.
But I thought she took over the lead a little bit too early in the stretch.
Next time!
I happened to stumble upon Princess Grace in Equibase's Churchill Downs entries. She's scheduled to run in the G2 Mrs. Revere Stakes on Saturday. It's race 10, estimated post time 5:35 p.m.
Off the turf at Churchill but Princess Grace is not a scratch. Has she run on dirt before?
Based on some news articles I think the Mrs. Revere was Princess Grace's first time racing on dirt.

I wonder if Orfevre has been unlucky and underrated as a stallion.

Tachyon, thanks for this information. Orfevre probably has been unlucky. There are only so many top broodmares to go around. Here in the U.S. the top mares are mated to the most elite sires. I'm sure it's no different in Japan and other countries. But I'm cheering on Orfevre and hope he gets a really top winning colt.

I'm very curious! :D

I wonder if Scarlet Color will be bred to various stallions during her stay in the US.
Her owner Koji Maeda had sent his G1 winning mare Heavenly Romance(JPN)(by Sunday Silence) to the US to be bred to Smart Strike, Tapit, Distorted Humor, Awesome Again and Mendelssohn.
The cross with Tapit saw success in Lani(USA).

Gran Alegria(JPN) will remain in training next year.
Her trainer Kazuo Fujisawa said she might extend distance next year.

Lucky Lilac(JPN) will run her finale in the G1 Arima Kinen (Grand Prix) in December.
