I'm hoping that at least one Sunday-line stallion succeeds at the top level here in the U.S.

Ivar(BRZ)(Agnes Gold) finished 4th in the G1 Breeders Cup Mile.
Aidan O'Brien's trio were obviously too good today.
But Ivar ran very well to beat such big names as Kameko and Siskin, both of whom will become stallions in UK and Japan, respectively.
I'm proud him. And I will continue to cheer for him with a hope that he will find a stud in the US when he retires from racing.
According to turfdiario.com, Paulo Lobo commented:
''He ran very well and we are happy. It was a very even race with many G1 winners. There are no excuses. I honestly think that he will be much better and stronger next year.''
I would think that Paulo Lobo is a great trainer!!
And I always love Ivar's shadow roll!!!

I had no idea there was already a black-type inbred to Sunday Silence in the states.
I've just seen the replay of the G3 Valley View Stakes at Keeneland.
3yo filly Princess Grace(USA), 3x3, really looked like a winner.
But I thought she took over the lead a little bit too early in the stretch.
Next time!

I happened to stumble upon Princess Grace in Equibase's Churchill Downs entries. She's scheduled to run in the G2 Mrs. Revere Stakes on Saturday. It's race 10, estimated post time 5:35 p.m.tachyon wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 7:32 amThanks for the heads-up!Gemini wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 8:57 pm This filly's pedigree is worth noting:

Off the turf at Churchill but Princess Grace is not a scratch. Has she run on dirt before?Gemini wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:26 pmI happened to stumble upon Princess Grace in Equibase's Churchill Downs entries. Princess Grace won the Mrs. Revere Stakes!!!
When a race changes surfaces it automatically goes down a grade, but the Graded Stakes Committee has a period of time where they decide if they will reinstate the grade after it is run. In this case the Mrs. Revere will be downgraded to G3 from G2.

She looked like a real dirt horse.
