I suppose since Win Win Win is retired, I can hang my hopes for Sunday's bloodline at the Breeders' Cup on Ivar.Starine wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 8:02 pm Ivar headed to Breeders' Cup Mile; gives Lobo first Grade 1 since 2004

Ivar showed his true self in his fourth start in the states.
I'm glad that Ivar has been with Paulo Lobo who had trained Farda Amiga(USA) and Pico Central(BRZ).
(I remember both G1 winners vividly -- I was in the states back then.)
And it looks like the Brazilian/Argentine colt is in great spirit.

Arctos(JPN), 2015H. Admire Aura(JPN) x Hoshini Inorio(JPN) by Symboli Kris S(USA), won the Jpn1 Mile Championship Nambu Hai at Morioka (NAR track) in the new national record for 1600m dirt of 1:32.7. on Oct 12th 2020, beating the dual G1 winner Mozu Ascot(USA)(Frankel).
The winner is Sunday Silence’s fourth generation through Agnes Tachyon(JPN), sire of Admire Aura.
That was wonderful news for the Agnes Tachyon branch, as Arctos is now very likely to become a stallion with this victory.
I had been worrying about the future of the Agnes Tachyon line.

Yay for Silent Poet!!
He is very consistent.
And I've learned that was a special win for his trainer Nick Gonzalez.

2020 has been such a weird year.
But then so amazing for Japanese horse racing. What a blessing.
I've been a fan of Contrail since the beginning and woke up at 3am because I was too excited to see the results
Arigato Contrail and Daring Tact for this fantastic double triple!

Tachyon, how wonderful for Japan's horse racing industry and the Sunday Silence sire line. Congratulations to Contrail and all of his connections. Also, thank you for sharing this photo. It is adorable. I would love to have one of those Orfevre toys. Also, in the pedigree of Contrail's dam I spot a few other favorites of mine: Tiznow, Storm Cat and his wonderful dam, Terlingua, a daughter of Secretariat. Lastly, I love how the Japanese celebrate big victories like this one, with the flag across the track and the lovely winner's blanket.
