Pinatubo retired. Sounds like he is still sound, as the plan had been for him to race in the breeders cup mile. Wonder if he just wasnt impressing in the morning so they just decided to call it quits? Either way, disappointing

Another stallion has been killed in an assault on a Peruvian stud farm, Comando Intimo (Rivadian). He was HOTY in Peru and was standing at Haras El Castillo. The attack happened September 29. The translation implies he was butchered for meat.

Swipe had his fourth Swedish winner on Wednesday, Clapper won a maiden race over 6f on the dirt. He ran well on a very wet and muddy track.

He is going to be the first stallion on the Galileo/Danehill cross to stand in Japan.

The Bloodhorse article said Lane's End declined to comment. I would imagine sold otherwise I think Lane's End would have commented.

The Appleby kids saying goodbye to a very easygoing Pinatubo.

Godolphin ought to use that video as an ad to show off the temperament of their new stallion. He knew there was a candy being unwrapped...and he still stood pretty quietly, without getting nippy. Even old geldings can get impatient when a mint isn't offered fast enough. ;) :D

The three I thought would be gone for 2021 are. Palace was sold but Race Day and Wicked Strong are also missing.

Twitter reports are saying that wicked strong has been sent to a yet to be announced pennsylvania farm for 2021. Not sure where race day is going. I'm wondering if Malibu moons fee dropping so drastically means he will be getting a pension announcement in the next year or two.

I'm shocked that they didn't go over $300,000 for Into Mischief, I still think he'd be worth it.

Malibu Moon is a steal at $35,000. Maybe pensioning is on the horizon but I think they'd list him as private instead.

Three Chimneys Farm 2021 Fees

Gun Runner - $50,000 ($70,000)
Palace Malice - $20,000 ($25,000)
Volatile - $17,500 (NEW)
Sky Mesa - $12,500 ($15,000)
Sharp Azteca - $6,500 ($10,000)
Fast Anna - $5,000 ($10,000)
Will Take Charge - $5,000 ($15,000)
Funtastic - $5,000 ($5,000)

----
Strong Mandate off roster

Can't believe they are trying to market Volatile at 17.5k. His fee is overpriced. He only raced 6 times and has one G1SW and one listed stakes win.
