Chrome babies picking up the pace some as the field rounds the final turn- two MSW winners, one of which was quite impressive, a G1 stakes placing, and a second in a MSW in the past few days.

Chrome Dixie (o/o My Dixie Doodle by Dixie Union) broke his maiden going 6f on the turf. His only previous start was at Saratoga, where he finished 5th. Chrome Dixie is trained by Christophe Clement and was ridden today by Joel Rosario

If my math is correct, Chrome would currently be #12 on the first-crop sires list, taking the place of Cinco Charlie. He no longer shows up on the BH lists because he is an export stallion.

He seems to be doing better than the horse who need not be named because he's EVERYWHERE. But it's early times.

Charles Chrome (c. o/o Charlie A) won Race 3 at Indiana Grand (November 9). This is the guy that won a race by over 12 lengths and then sold for $55K on an online auction. Wonder if he'll be wheeled back next week to run in the Indiana Futurity?

Polished Lady (f. o/o Dr. Fager's Gal) won Race 7 at Golden Gate (November 8).

I saw that; I was working so I missed the race, but when I watched the replay, the jock seemed to be looking at the right hind. There's been nothing from the Casse barn on twitter, so no news is good news. I have a friend who's tight with the barn; thought about asking if he has heard anything.

Wasn't Sea Mona one of the mares who could have been chosen to produce the foal for the Chromies who signed up with Taylor Made? I know the actual foal was out of Colerful Bride and will not race.

Chandelle, a homebred owned by Perry and Denise Martin, won the 5th at Churchill today (and survived a rider's objection in the process). She becomes the 2nd Chrome foal to win 2 races (Charles Chrome was the first). Chandelle is out of the unraced Speightstown mare Lady Chelsey. Lady Chelsey is a half sister to LeaveEm In Malibu (G3 Winner)) and Danzig Moon (G1 placed). She is trained by Mike Maker and was ridden today by Tyler Gafflione

Butterfly Bars ran again in Russia on November 11th. She finished 5th. The Russian racing season is over and doesn't resume until April.

I can't access the Equineline numbers reports for some reason right now but based on my above post + the winners since then I think it's a safe assumption that Chrome will finish in the Top 20 freshmen.

Tayler's Chrome and Payster went to the winner's circle recently. I can't find the Equineline database thing but I think this furthers his Top 20 status.
