Do you know if he is retired or taking a break?
I am not sure. I asked on the facebook page of trainer Jimmy Jerkins. The social media person for the Jerkins barn said that GLG is on the Adena farm at the moment. No other info given.

RELOAD, Hard Spun stallion standing in Canada, just got his 3rd stakes horse of only 9 starters. His first horses are 2 year olds in 2020. 2 more stakes entries for RELOAD 2 year olds on Sunday 9/27/2020 at Woodbine. RELOAD stands for $3000 and has 45 registered 2 year olds in 2020. 9 to race, 5 winners and 3 stakes horses(all stakes placed). Off to a nice start as a stallion.

HIDDEN SCROLL dumped the rider and ran off before entering the gate. Late scratch. What a head case.

HIDDEN SCROLL late vet scratch from his race due to breaking through the gate before the start. Just can't get a break. This is the second time he has done this.

He was in the gate and went in very smoothly. At that point I was thinking, everything was going well. Then suddenly he ditched his rider and broke through the front of the gate. Well, he will be back. He's got a lot of talent and one of these days, we will see it. A little too hot blooded for his own good, I guess. One of these days he will put it all together.

HARD NOT TO LOVE ran a solid fast closing second in the Zenyatta Stakes today and seems to have regained her form. She ran a wider race than the winner Harvest Moon. Took her a little while down the stretch to really get into gear and once she did, she really closed a lot of ground on Harvest Moon and Fighting Mad. She caught Fighting Mad, but ran out of ground to catch Harvest Moon, but I think she might have done that with more ground. Glad to see this performance much improved. Maybe they just need to keep her at Santa Anita, due to her anxiety issues. She threw a real clunker at Del Mar and maybe that was because she was uncomfortable in a different setting. She sure ran like a different horse today. Glad to see it!

Both RELOAD offspring finished 2nd in their stakes races on Sunday 9/27/2020. RELOAD now has 4 black type stakes horses of 9 to race. Tied for 1st in # black type horses for first crop stallions standing in North America.

Just learned that EASTER GIFT from Hard Spun's first crop (2009) died in 2016. He had been standing in Canada. He was only 7 years old when he died. I saw him win a stakes at Penn National in 2013. Sad news.

JARETH won the Peach Street Handicap (race #5) at Presque Isle Downs today. The purse for this race was $60,000, so its not a black type win for him. But it's still a stakes win. His record is now 22-6-4-2.

AJOURNEYTOFREEDOM was claimed by Mike Maker in his last race and today finished 4th in the G1 Belmont Derby. I think he went off at about 27-1, the longest shot on the board. He well outran his odds and beat some nice horses that were much shorter odds. He was still running at the finish, so it will be interesting to see what Mike Maker can do with him in the future. He had the widest post and a rather wide trip, never better than 3 path. Encouraging performance.

Entry:
SPIN RATE - 4yo colt won on debut nicely Feb 2020 and hasn't raced since. Could be a good one.

He returns Saturday Oct 10, 2020 - Keeneland, Race 10. He races against Nashville (by Speightstown), a nice debut winner in slop last month.

They are being sold? :-( I guess Hard Not To Love as a broodmare prospect? I can't imagine any other trainer or jockey being better able to handle her better, so I am guessing the idea is to retire her. Kind of disappointing after she improved so much in her last. But maybe she has earned it, poor dear. And Hidden Scroll? Maybe a new trainer will have better luck with him? I know Bill Mott is HOF, but .... And this means Juddmonte has given up on HS.
