Exclusive Native

Does anyone else notice that most of the names end in E, T, R and N?

Yeah, the last four names have ended in an "e".

A huge number of English words in general end with those letters. And there are many letters in the English language that don't end many words at all, especially compared to E, T, R and N. Try listing words and proper names that end with B, J, P, Q, U or V. Even C, F, M and X are limited. And if you eliminate plurals and the verb suffixes -s, -es, -ed and -ing, your options for S, D and G narrow considerably.

The biggest problem in games like this is letters that hardly ever BEGIN a horse's name. X is the obvious one, but E ends so many English words and names that it's getting hard to come up with notable horses whose names start with the letter.

It could be worse. The jockey name game often shuts down for days or weeks whenever a jockey with -ez at the end of his/her name is put into play. Conversely, all those jocks named John, Jim, Joe, Jesse, Jose and Juan (not to mention Jessica and Jennifer and Julie) never get a mention because nobody's last name ends with J.
