Nice story about Om and his connections with a recent photo of him.

This is funny. From Horse Racing Ireland:
We were really curious what #FathersDay looks like @CoolmoreStud @Ballydoyle for big Daddy Galileo. So, we asked them nicely and they let us into the WhatsApp group ...

My thoughts exactly. I was actually relieved when I saw Gainesway rather than Win$tar or $pendthrift.

Well, maybe he will. The sale was for the breeding rights - so doesn’t Sackatoga still get to decide how long he runs?

Someone said in the racing forum that they are not fan friendly. Between this and the fact that the stallions are treated as baby making machines....just not great news.
I would love HAP to stand at Claiborne...I adore Lane’s End, but they already have his sire and several other Indy line horses

His connections have already reported that he will race as a 4yo. They sold his breeding rights, Coolmore will have no say in his racing career.
They’ve talked about racing him as a 4yo for a while now. They want to enjoy the colt. They also haven’t ruled out racing him past 4, but it’s unlikely.

I am not a huge fan of Coolmore for various reasons, but my one experience going on a tour at Ashford was a good one.Slewfan2 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 1:10 pmSomeone said in the racing forum that they are not fan friendly. I'm glad to hear that! I hope one day to get to KY and visit the farms. Sadly I waited too long to see Indy, but he's got lots of sons there, so.....CorridorZ75 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 7:59 pmI am not a huge fan of Coolmore for various reasons, but my one experience going on a tour at Ashford was a good one.Slewfan2 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 1:10 pmSomeone said in the racing forum that they are not fan friendly. Re. breeding rights being sold: you had to know that it was either going to be Winstar, Coolmore, of Spendthrift. Personally, I think Coolmore is the lesser of three evils.
