She's So Special easily beat the boys in the Desert Code Stakes at Santa Anita today. I think she is the 78th stakes winner for Hard Spun.

ROCKETRY finished 4th in the Flat Out Stakes today and ran well in doing so. His first race of the year and the pace was glacial. He closed well from 17 lengths back, despite that, and should have gotten a lot out of that race.

This is very exciting. Maybe to no one other than me, but please bear with me. DOC CEBU is back in action! This warrior is 10 years old and has had a great run over timber jumps the past few years, although he has been out of action since a year ago May. He is entered tomorrow in race #4 at Middleburg, VA. It is an allowance. He had quite a winning streak going for a while and when he stopped showing up in the entries, I thought perhaps he had been retired. I noticed he has a change of riders, but the same outstanding trainer. Fingers crossed that his return is a winning one.
Tried to post his recent PPs, but could not get it to work.

DOC CEBU finished 2nd in his race. Although only an allowance, it was a strong field with stakes winners. He ran very well. Got off to a slow start, raced toward the back most of the way. he was the only horse who closed ground on the winner who had an easy lead the whole way. I would say a good start after being off for over a year. Race was broadcast live by the ASA. Fun to watch these longer races. They aren't over in the blink of an eye. Another big Saturday in two weeks--Virginia Hunt Cup races at Manassas, VA. Steeplechase season getting a late start. I think this was the first day. Usually the spring series is concluded by now.
Usually takes about a week for the video to be posted. I'll keep an eye out.
Wondering if we will be seeing SNAP DECISION soon.

Ajourneytofreedom placed 2nd in the Alcatraz Stakes at Golden Gate Fields today. He came charging late and just missed by a head. Looks like he may prefer the grass. His record is now 8-2-2-0.

SPINOFF's most recent work was at Saratoga. This means he was shipped from South Florida within the past 2 weeks.
No works from A THREAD OF BLUE for some time. He was moved to trainer John Servis. Wonder if any issues.
Looks like HIDDEN SCROLL's next race is on the Belmont Undercard next weekend, in a 6 furlong G1 Turf Sprint
No clue what's next for GREEN LIGHT GO. His last work was 2 weeks ago at Belmont Park.
Still no works from SPUN TO RUN

I wonder if Parx being closed is the reason for no works for Thread of Blue and Spun To Run. They both could have been jogging right along, but if there are no races for them to run in, it might not make sense to do works. I saw on Twitter that Parx is opening soon, so maybe we will see some works from these two soon. Just guessing here. I know nothing about training horses.MTO wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 6:31 pm SPINOFF's most recent work was at Saratoga. This means he was shipped from South Florida within the past 2 weeks.
