Darby Dan must be shaking. They bred Klimt to 200+ one year.

The TDN article said only Hoppertunity and Uncle Lino are going to Maryland. They haven't made decisions on the other stallions, they also stand Bullsbay.Mylute wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 5:17 pm Northview PA to be Sold to Consolidate Business; Stallions Will Move to Maryland

~ Hoppertunity, Uncle Lino, Peace and Justice, and Medallist will be moving to Maryland. Seems like a big loss to PA since Hopper was so popular.

Saw on twitter that California Chrome's first starter, filly Butterfly Bars finished fifth on debut in Russia. Not sure where she is finding this info.

Well, the inevitable has finally happened. Skigeki Yusa has reported that Forty Niner has passed away today. He'd just turned 35 on May 11th.
They certainly gave him a wonderful life there.

Awesome! Creator is so pretty. Hopefully he can be really successful for Arrow.

Bucchero's owner has opened a webpage to allow breeders of foals by Bucchero to submit pictures and even offer them for sale, if they chose. They want as many foals to be shown as possible so breeders can see a better idea of what the stallion is producing, not just the cream of the crop.

If you look at the mares he's seen iin his life at stud, and his lifetime CI, it's really not. He'd have to be an utter failure to not get runners from those daughters.

It might be a little bit of both. Bernardini has been bred to a lot of outstanding mares, but a truly bad stallion would bring down his mares to the point they couldn't produce at that level.Retrospectiv wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 3:45 pmIf you look at the mares he's seen iin his life at stud, and his lifetime CI, it's really not. According to The Player's Facebook page, he was bred to 10 mares this year.

One of these is doing it with 133 in first crop and 110 in second and a CI of 1.42 and an AEI of 1.73.Starine wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 10:05 pm Constitution, American Pharoah Top Second-Crop Sires -- Bill Oppenheim

The other is doing it with crops of 162 and 156 and a CI of 3.08 and an AEI of 1.5
Had Amalfi Sunrise not been lost, I wonder if AP would have even been champion first crop sire.
Now Mr. Oppenheim, tell me again how equal these sires are?
