Sure no problem. Yeah I don't think I've read it mentioned in any articles since then but I knew I had read it somewhere so I looked around. If I understand the Turf Diario article correctly, he was originally set to debut at Keeneland, but Keeneland canceled its spring meet due to COVID. The only tracks open for racing in the USA right now are Gulfstream Park, Oaklawn Park, Will Rogers Downs, and Fonner Park (am I missing one?). Ivar would have to travel to one of these tracks, which would be difficult because of COVID. It would be even more difficult for any connections that would want to follow him, and they would even likely have to be in quarantine.
Churchill and Santa Anita are trying really hard to open back up again, which is being delayed for a plethora of reasons. Santa Anita is having to deal with PETA lobbyers, it seems.
TL;DR Ivar is having to play a waiting game like the majority of horses in North America right now because of COVID.
Hopefully Churchill gets up and running soon; it isn't that far from Keeneland.
