Yeah I love having an Arazi daughter here! We actually stood Arazi for 2 years at our farm. He was such a sweetheart!! He was definitely one of my favourites and i always love seeing updates and pictures from his 'retirement home' in Australia

Both sire and dam have to have the chestnut gene for their foal to be chestnut. I mean you can look at a stallion or mares progeny and see if they have produced a chestnut but just looking at pedigree, its hid for awhile on Duramente's side. You have to go back to his 4th generation to find chestnut ancestors, but both his sire and dam have produced chestnuts. Then yes for sure his dam's chestnut gene came from her sire.
