Tried to hunt down a pic of Verdi showing his hocks. Found some, but they're...not something you would show to breeders, lol. Verdi's best friend is a traffic cone. This pics are from Long Acres Stud's FB and there's several more.

Honestly, make him a mare and put a star on his forehead and he'd be the spitting image of the half-Morgan mare that I work with.

Beach Patrol (Lemon Drop Kid x Bashful Bertie, by Quiet American) has filled out nicely and is hubba. He actually reminds me of standardbred stallion Bettor's Delight.

His head definitely reminds me of a standardbred. But yes, he has really filled out and is looking handsome. I've been a big fan of Lemon Drop Kid for years and was thrilled to learn that Beach Patrol was going to Japan -- I think he will have the best chance to succeed at stud over there as opposed to the States.

Here's a sales confo pic of Oscar Nominated (Kitten's Joy). His StarQuine listing has 900+ views so I expect he'll be picked up soon.
l am still learning about conformation but my immediate reaction to this photo was "nice." His back legs look a little longer than his front but I think he's standing a little crooked.

I like Ten Sovereigns too. Sporting Chance looks a little odd--maybe it's just that his neck is stretched forward.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Sweet Orange has stood in NZ for a few years and of course USNavy Flag shuttles to Valachi Downs. In Aus I believe Declaration Of War and The Factor have stood a season or two.starrydreamer wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 11:01 amCool! I might be mistaken, but I think he's the first War Front son to stand in Aus/NZ.
US Navy Flag's new photo is such an upgrade.

My day has been made. Thrills my heart to know he found a place to land. He was one of the first horses I took a shine to when I started following the sport consistently.
