Gufo won an optional claimer on turf at Gulfstream on Friday and may be pointed to the NY Turf Triple, but I was also struck to learn he is a Declaration of War half-brother to a favorite of mine, Hogy.

Noticed tonight that Halfbridled had no foals after the 2014 Pas Prete.

Anyone know if she was pensioned....or deceased?

I don't recall reading anything about her since she was exported to Europe.

Seems odd, nothing since 2014. I think that would have made her 13 when she foaled that filly.

*Edit - someone on FB reporting that she is in fact deceased.
