Colic surgery is rough for all horses, let alone a very young foal. Then for her to develop adhesions, is very sad. Anytime I've read of a horse developing them, they are put down.

I'm glad New Money Honey's filly got to enjoy being outside at least that one time. It sounds like they did everything they possibly could.

On a happier note, Chosen Destiny's baby has some serious bling!

The Chosen Destiny colt is very flashy and appears to be very correct as well.

And of course I'm always delighted to see another Roaring Lion cub on the ground.

To the shock of no one, I'm liking all of the Hopper foals I'm seeing (mostly on Northview's Facebook page).

I wonder if Berkshire's other foals have that level of flash. Berk himself has a big white blaze (like this kiddo) and three white socks.

Hard to tell. Were the pictures taken when it was cloudy or sunny? Looks cloudy to me, but I'm also thinking she'll stay bay.

It also looks like Songbird's second foal by a gray sire will remain bay. Wah.
